NanoBio
The Biomedical Nanotechnology (NanoBio) research group is a multidisciplinary team that has been conducting research on Nanotechnology and Biophotonics since 2002. One of the group's primary objectives is the development of nanoparticles, with a focus on Quantum Dots, for studying biological events in cells and tissues. The use of QDs conjugated to (bio)molecules, combined with fluorescence and optical techniques, has opened new perspectives and enabled the real-time monitoring of cellular events at the molecular level. The group also works with Photodynamic Effect and Optical Tweezers.
Research Group Associated with INCT of Photonics (INFo)
